New spaces create opportunities for more youth support, thanks to Government grant
9th April 2025
Our Head Office on The Avenue has been reconfigured and renovated to create brand new spaces for young people, thanks to a grant from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport’s Youth Investment Fund.
The two side-by-side buildings have seen major redevelopment, with the downstairs of one turned into a large space for young people, including an open-access drop-in. From the summer, this brand new drop-in will be open for three days a week after school hours for young people aged 11-16, thanks to separate funding from the Prudence Trust.

The addition of extra counselling rooms, designed to be trauma-informed and accessible, allows for additional capacity for No Limits’ counselling services.

There is also a brand new separate building in the garden – The Treehouse. A large hub building, it consists of a large main space, a private room, a kitchenette and accessible toilet. This building will be used for young people’s groups and along with two conference-style rooms in our main buildings, will be available to hire for the community.

Our Advice Centre drop-in and counselling rooms have also been redecorated and re-furnished, making a brighter, more accessible and welcoming space – matching the welcome young people receive from the experienced staff.

Natalie Webb, No Limits’ CEO, said “This redevelopment work has been a once-in-a-charity-lifetime opportunity. Our new spaces will allow for increased and improved support for all young people in the city. We now have two modern centres which are accessible and trauma informed, comfortable and welcoming. We are so grateful to the Youth Investment Fund for helping us improve services for young people in such a significant way.”
