Our Advice Centre is open today from 10:00am – 8:00pm

Supporting Safer Communities
Detached Team
Our team of detached youth workers spend their time in different communities across Southampton, building relationships with residents and young people that live and use the area.
We know that not all young people know about or want to go to our Advice Centre to talk to a youth worker, so our team work with young people in their own community, meaning young people can get advice and support in a place that they feel comfortable.
The team are out five days a week in different neighbourhoods. See where and when you can find them below.
Our detached youth workers are there to talk about anything going on in your life, including substance use, mental health, loneliness, sexual health, relationships, housing and money. They can also tell you about other services that might be able to help you.
The team are about from 3-6pm Monday to Friday. Here’s where you can find them:
Monday – City Centre and St Mary’s
Tuesday – Portswood
Wednesday – Shirley
Thursday – City Centre and St Mary’s
Friday – City Centre
