Southampton Swish set to save planet and support local charities

22nd August 2019

A group of three fashionistas have teamed up to help save the planet and support two local charities this September.

Hampshire-based personal stylists, Fiona Mobbs and Glenda Grocott and dress maker, Wen Hawkeswood have put their expertise together to organise a Swish event this Autumn, where women can help save the plant and freshen up their wardrobe by swapping unused clothing for a new look.

Money raised from the event will go towards supporting Southampton youth charity, No Limits, with any un-claimed clothes set to be donated to homeless charity, Emmaus.

Fiona Mobbs, from Your Colour & Style, said “This event will be a fun, guilt-free way to improve our wardrobes ready for the coming Autumn/Winter season. We look forward to helping you choose great items to take home and enjoy”.

The Swish will take place on Wednesday 25th September from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Wellow Village Hall, Wellow, Southampton. Early-bird tickets are £5 per person, with tickets sold after 8th September or on the door priced at £10 per person. For more information contact Fiona on 07469 246722 or Glenda on 07929 016225 or search ‘Make a Swish’ on Eventbrite.
