Signposting young people to improved mental health

9th May 2019

No Limits will be helping young people think about their own mental health this coming week, as part of Mental Health Awareness Week. At their regular health and wellbeing drop-ins in secondary schools and colleges, our youth workers will be asking young people to think about a place or an activity which improves their mental health and record it on a signpost poster. These signposts will be shared with other young people to generate real solutions to early issues with mental health.

No Limits offers support of all kinds to children and young people under the age of 26 and has seen a huge increase in the number of young people with mental health problems over the last year.

Young people can pop in to our Advice Centre talk to a youth worker and receive support through counselling, specialist group support and our health & wellbeing drop-ins in schools.
The activity is part of Solent Mind’s new #onyourdoorstep campaign. For more information, email fundraising@nolimitshelp.org.uk or phone 02380 224 224.
