SHINE Go Ape with Zurich

Our DASH team and six young people from our SHINE group recently enjoyed an adventurous day out and took the Tree Top challenge at Go Ape, thanks to the generosity of Zurich.

Zurich staff joined us on the day, bringing along a delicious M&S lunch which they all shared together before the activities began.

The afternoon was filled with fun, courage, determination, and plenty of laughter. The young people challenged themselves to climb high into the trees, took leaps of faith, conquering fears and stepping far beyond their comfort zones. Even when the rain arrived, the smiles, giggles, and encouragement never stopped.

By the end of the day, everyone felt proud, happy, and just the right amount of exhausted, a true testament to their bravery, resilience, and the wonderful support they gave each other throughout the adventure.

Thank you to Zurich for once again providing a memorable day out for our young people!
