Mental Health
Safe Havens & Space 4U
Our Safe Haven and Space 4U offer out-of-hours open-access and one-to-one crisis support for young people experiencing difficulties with their mental health in Southampton, North East Hants & Farnham (Safe Haven) and the Isle of Wight (Space 4U).
Youth workers are able to support with anything that might be affecting your mental health or wellbeing such as managing self-harm or suicidal thoughts, low mood and self-esteem, anxiety or simply needing help in accessing further support.
Our support

Open-access
Our open-access is a safe space for you to attend in-person to talk to a youth worker about what you’re going through and you do not need to refer or let us know you’re coming beforehand.

One-to-ones
You can also talk to a youth worker privately in a one-to-one which can be in-person, online or over the phone. We offer up to four one-to-one sessions, and these are pre-booked
via appointment only. If further support is needed beyond these sessions, you are welcome to come along to our open-access sessions.

Wellbeing Sessions (Southampton only)
Our Southampton Safe Haven team offer group support through our Wellbeing Sessions, for young people to work on managing anxiety, building resilience, and helping to improve confidence and self-esteem among peers. More information on our Wellbeing Sessions and how to refer can be found on our ‘Groups’ page.

Webchat
We also have a webchat service that is available during the times stated below, where support can be offered virtually online without an appointment.
