Fundraising Guide
Thank you for fundraising for No Limits!
Fundraising is really important to charities, especially ones like us, because the money raised by individuals and organisations can be sent to wherever the need is greatest. Whatever your target. The money you raise will make a real difference to the lives of the children and young people we work with.
This page will give you tips and advice on how to make the most of your fundraising and help to make a real difference to children and young people in our area. If you have any questions or would like any support, just get in touch with our team.

Fundraising through JustGiving
The easiest way to fundraise for No Limits is through JustGiving. Follow these steps to set your page up:
1. Go to justgiving.com/create-page, click ‘Yes, I’m fundraising for a charity’. When logged in, search for No Limits and you’ll see our green and blue logo (RCN 1088835).
2. Follow the rest of the instructions to set up your page.
3. Choose your fundraising target, page title and team members if you have them.
4. Tell people why you’re fundraising for No Limits and how their donation can make a big difference. If you’d like any help with this section, just email us!
5. Once your page is set up, send the link round to your friends, family and colleagues and share it on your socials too. It’s a good idea to ask those likely to sponsor you with larger amounts first, to encourage others to be just as generous with their donations.

Spreading the word

Social media
Share photos and videos capturing your journey and explain why you’re supporting No Limits. You could add a link to our website and tag us (@nolimitshelp on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn) so people can find out more about us.
Always include a link to your JustGiving page to make it nice and easy for people to donate.

Contact your friends, family and colleagues
Get the support of your family, friends and colleagues by sending them an email or a message with your JustGiving link, telling them why you’re fundraising.
If you’re a member of a community group, let them know about your fundraiser, too! They may wish to sponsor you or even join you in your fundraising.

Get in touch with local press
Send an email to your local newspaper, radio station or TV news, letting them know about your fundraiser. Include key information like the who, what, where, when and why of your fundraising activity and your fundraising target.
Don’t forget to include a fun and engaging photo, too.
We are always happy to help you reach local media with your information and provide quotes and extra information.
Afterwards
Let us know how your event went by emailing our team with how much you raised and any photos or videos you’d like us to share. We’ll put them on our social media, our fundraising page and it’ll also go in our supporter newsletter.
