Local Heroes
No Limits’ Local Heroes are there for young people, helping to change and save their lives through regular giving, and they are needed now more than ever.
Will you join the team?
For over 30 years, No Limits has been making a difference to young lives in Southampton, Hampshire, Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight. Our support and its impact can last a lifetime and Local Heroes are playing their part by donating on a regular cycle, choosing how much they want to donate and how often. They’re helping us to be here for the long-term, supporting young people through any challenges they face.
Becoming a Local Hero will mean young people in your community have high quality, life-changing support and the ability to get help without having to wait. Together, we can be there in their time of need.

Supporting complex issues
The amount of young people coming to us for support with multiple, complex issues such as mental health struggles, unsafe housing, abusive relationships or poverty is increasing.
Each year, around 3,500 young people needed support for at least three different challenges they’re facing.
We are often a lifeline for these young people and with your help, they can turn their lives around.
By giving regularly, you make sure young people have support that is:

Free
Young people never have to pay a single penny for our support.

Confidential
No Limits is a safe space, where young people can talk privately to a trained youth worker.

About Anything
No Limits will never turn a young person away. Our youth workers are here to help with anything they are going through.

At any time
Our Advice Centre on Southampton High Street is open six days a week. Young people can access support there whenever they need, without needing an appointment.

At any place
Youth workers are available in-person, over the phone and email, meaning young people can get help from anywhere in our area.

Without having to wait
No appointment is needed to speak to a youth worker at our Advice Centre or over the phone, meaning young people can access support instantly.
Why I give to No Limits
I give to No Limits because I am aware of the huge difference that they make to the lives and life chances of children, young people and young adults. As someone who lives in the City, has raised two children here, and has seen the impact of many of their services, I appreciate how fortunate our young people are to have access to this support. But I also appreciate that making this possible costs money. It’s important to help organisations that make good things happen – that’s why I give regularly to No Limits.
More than just a donation
As a regular giver, your money will go further. You aren’t just supporting the now, you’re supporting the future, for young people and No Limits.
Having regular income allows us to plan for what’s coming up and be ready for any eventuality, whether that’s putting extra resources into a service to help it cope with increased demand, or starting something new to keep up with the ever-changing world young people are growing up in.
Without people like you, that isn’t possible. You’ll help us to be here for the long term, supporting young people now and tomorrow.

How does it work?

1
Go to the bottom of the page and in the donation section, click ‘I want to give regularly.’ You’ll then be able to choose the frequency of donations.

2
Choose how much you’d like to donate each time. You can donate any amount you’d like. You’ll then go through to the CAF Donate website where you’ll complete the direct debit.

3
When you’re signed up, you’ll receive an email confirmation, and we’ll then be in touch within a few working days to tell you a little bit more. We’ll also get your welcome letter on its way to you.
Are you ready to become a local hero?
This is your sign. Demand for help with mental health, housing, benefits, income and tax have all risen dramatically in the last few years. Support sector budgets are getting tighter while waiting lists get longer.
Young people in your community need you. Please take the call and help them to in their time of need.
