Safe Haven Southampton
Safe Haven Southampton offers out-of-hours open-access and one-to-one crisis support for young people aged 11-25 experiencing difficulties with their mental health in the city.
Youth workers are able to support you in different ways with anything that might be affecting your mental health or wellbeing such as managing self-harm or suicidal thoughts, low mood and self-esteem, anxiety or simply needing help in accessing further support.
Our support

Open-access
Our open-access is a safe space for you to attend in-person to talk to a youth worker about what you’re going through and you do not need to refer or let us know you’re coming beforehand.
One-to-ones
You can also talk to a youth worker privately in a one-to-one which can be in-person, online or over the phone. We offer up to four one-to-one sessions, and these are pre-booked
via appointment only. If further support is needed beyond these sessions, you are welcome to come along to our open-access sessions.
Wellbeing Sessions
Our team offer group support for 11-17 year olds through our Wellbeing Sessions, where young people can work on managing anxiety, building resilience, and helping to improve confidence and self-esteem among peers.
Webchat
If you would like to talk to someone online, Kooth offer free, safe and anonymous webchat seven days a week.
