About Us
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at No Limits
At No Limits, we want every young person who comes to us for support, every staff member, and every volunteer to feel welcome, safe represented and accepted. We want everyone who engages with No Limits to have a positive experience. We want to embrace and celebrate our differences and be able to give absolutely everyone support that genuinely helps them. Every young person is important to us.
We want to increase the diversity of the young people we support and we’re working towards that by integrating diversity into everything we do, from our strategic plans to our services and day-to-day practice. We’re also growing diversity within our staff and volunteer teams, ensuring that No Limits is accessible, and our staff are representative of all young people. Our focus is on continuous improvement and we’re always looking for ways we can do better for the benefit of young people.
In our journey towards equity, No Limits is committed to taking concrete actions that drive meaningful change:
Our Commitments
Listening Actively
We encourage young people, our staff and volunteers to have a voice, particularly those from disadvantaged groups. We will continuously improve ourselves and our organisation through active listening.
Breaking Down Barriers
Our strategy focuses on breaking down barriers to accessing support across our services and this will be built into our plans and what we do, with clear measures for accountability.
Creating Opportunities for All
We’ll identify and create opportunities for people who face extra challenges, ensuring equal access to our services, programs, and employment, volunteering and participation opportunities.
Transparent Recruitment Process
We’ll maintain a transparent and accessible recruitment process, actively seeking diverse candidates and providing equal opportunities for all applicants.
Organisational Oversight
Our DEI plans will have regular review from our senior managers, Senior Leadership Team and trustees, ensuring commitment and accountability throughout the organsation to drive meaningful change.
Valuing Lived Experience
We recognise the importance of lived experience and value the diverse perspectives of our staff and volunteers in shaping our work with young people. We actively consider this when making recruitment and promotion decisions.
