Youth Worker, Social Action and Change
No Limits are committed to engaging young people across our services in Social Action and local and national change, this role will train and deliver rights based and social action in line with the national ‘Making Our Rights Reality’ programme.
The programme is designed to inspire young people’s participation in public legal education (PLE) and PLE-related social action activities to increase their own and others’ legal capabilities.
We are currently recruiting one 30 hour per week Youth Worker to support with the delivery of rights-based programmes and to led on Social Action projects to create change for young people.
Applicants will need to display leadership qualities, enthusiasm and passion for young people’s rights, coupled with youth work skills to enable young people to improve their legal capability through education, group work and one to one support. It is these relationships with young people that will contribute to the project’s success.
Additional hours (up to 7) may also be available to the right candidate to support the delivery of group work to young people.
Salary Scale: NJC 20-25 starting salary £19,819 Pro rata based on 37 hours FTE.
