Counselling Volunteer

Are you a good listener? Do you want to help support young people through difficult times?

We’re looking for volunteer counsellors to support 11-25 year olds in confidence with any issue they may be facing by helping them to make positive changes in their life. To do this, you will need to adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions, be non-judgmental, empathetic and understanding, and to work in partnership with other No Limits staff.

As a volunteer, we need you to commit to both your clients and supervision sessions (clinical and managerial), and continue with your professional development. We also ask that you respect confidentiality in-line with No Limits’ policies, and that, if required, you’re able to refer a young person to the services of No Limits with support from supervisors.

It is mandatory that you commit to ongoing training, including attendance at 3 counselling gatherings per year.
