No Limits have an exciting opening for a Youth Worker (Lead) – Denmead Groups worker who will lead on the delivery of the Denmead Youth Club to young people aged 8-18yrs.
The successful applicant will lead on the delivery of the Denmead Youth Club to young people aged 8-18yrs, providing young people with a safe environment to engage with learning, skills, fun activities and support. They will have responsibility for the development and delivery of age appropriate youth club sessions during school terms and plan and deliver fun off-site activities during school holidays. They will also act as an advocate for children and young people and refer them on to other relevant agencies and services, as appropriate, to ensure their needs are appropriately met.
The Youth Worker (Lead) will assist the Project Manager in the on-going training, support and supervision, of assistant youth workers and volunteers.

This role is based at Ashling Park Pavilion, Denmead, Portsmouth.
Starting salary: SCP 8 (£10.37 per hour)
Hours: 8 Hours per week Tues & Thurs evenings (term-time only) with occasional additional activity days during breaks. Includes evenings and occasional weekends. Fixed term contract to August 2020, includes 28 days holiday (pro rata based on 37 FTE) plus bank holidays .
