Fundraising Committee Volunteer

24th January 2024

At No Limits, it is important our staff and volunteers reflect, represent and have experience of the challenges faced by the children and young people we support. We are proud and appreciate our many staff and volunteers who use their own lived experience to support the children and young people they work with.

With this in mind, we are committed to equity, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of our work and organisational culture – and when recruiting, it’s important to us that we continue diversifying our staff and volunteer teams, with children and young people at the centre of everything we do.

When we talk about talent, we value the transferrable skills and experiences you can bring to No Limits, which can be through work (in the same or a different sector), volunteering or personal experiences. To make sure we get the best talent on our team, we are open to and actively encourage applications from all backgrounds and sections of the community, including diverse ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQIA+, disabled and neurodiverse.

If invited to interview, please let us know if we can support you at interview with any reasonable adjustments, such as flexible working, access arrangements or a suitable place to pray.

About the role

As a Fundraising Committee Volunteer, you will work alongside our Fundraising Officer and fellow volunteers, to help to plan and deliver events and activities to raise funds and awareness of No Limits, benefitting vulnerable children and young people across Hampshire.

The Fundraising Committee meets once a month and we are looking for passionate and creative people who can help with researching, seeking new opportunities and bringing new ideas – as well as helping with the planning and delivery of fundraising events, such as the ABP Southampton Marathon.

There is no set time commitment for this role – we are happy to be guided by you on the time you can offer.

Volunteers are very much part of our team, so you will be invited to other meetings and organisational events too.

How to apply

To apply, please send a letter / email explaining:

  • why you are applying for the role
  • why you would like to volunteer with No Limits
  • any relevant skills or experience
  • what skills you would like to develop whilst volunteering with us
  • what motivates you to support children and young people

to people@nolimitshelp.org.uk.

For more information, please download the Role Description and our Applicant Information Pack and/or you can contact the our Fundraising, Communications and Marketing team at fundraising@nolimitshelp.org.uk if you would like an informal discussion.

Applications are being reviewed on a rolling basis, with a closing date of 9.00am on Tuesday 2nd April 2024. We look forward to hearing from you!
