No Limits thanks local companies and groups for Christmas gift donations
11th December 2019
We have been overwhelmed by the amount of support given to No Limits for those in need this Christmas.
During the winter months we have received over 500 Christmas gifts from local businesses and community groups for some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people in the City.
Volunteers have also shown support by helping to wrap all 500 gifts ready in time for the No Limits Christmas meal on the 19th December, where young people will have the opportunity to enjoy a hot Christmas meal served by the Millbrook 457 Battery Royal Artillery Army Reserves.
Lizi Fewtrell, Fundraising Officer, said “for many of the children and young people we work with at No Limits, Christmas will be just like any other day, so to be able to bring some festive cheer to them this holiday is really special. We have been just amazed at the outpouring of gifts and donations we have received from our supporters without which we wouldn’t have been able to make this happen.”.
No Limits has also received donations of clothes, toiletries and food for street homeless and sofa surfing young people who need essential supplies this Christmas.
