No Limits brings festive cheer to Southampton young people

19th December 2019

Today, we held a Christmas meal for young people in the City who might not otherwise get to celebrate Christmas this year.

The meal, which took place at the charity’s Advice Centre, was served by the Millbrook 457 Battery Royal Artillery Army Reserves, who helped to organize, prepare, cook and serve the meal to the young people.

The young people were treated to Christmas puddings, mince pies and Christmas crackers courtesy of Tesco, Dibden, and received a Christmas gift thanks to hundreds of donations of gifts made to the charity during November and December.

Lizi Fewtrell, Fundraising Officer, said “for many of the children and young people we work with at No Limits, Christmas will be just like any other day, so to be able to bring some festive cheer to them this holiday is really special. We have been just amazed at the outpouring of gifts and donations we have received from our supporters without which we wouldn’t have been able to make this happen.”.
