Help Us Move On (HUMO) are running a film competition!
If you’re aged 16-25 we welcome you to create a short film addressing a social injustice issue faced by young people within your community. This is an opportunity to highlight a real problem and to propose an innovative solution. You may be overflowing with ideas already, but if not, you can take a look at the HUMO report for inspiration.
The video submissions should be 3 – 5 minutes long and will be judged on content, creativity and originality.
All submissions will be judged by the Help Us Move On Youth Advocates and guest judges, who will select films to be shortlisted and screened at an event in late April. The top 3 submissions will be announced at the screening event and the winner will receive a cash prize of £125. Second place will receive £70 and third place will receive £30.
Please submit your video entry by emailing it to [email protected] by Friday 14th May 2021.
Help Us Move On reserve the right to use all submitted content on our social media platforms and in support of the HUMO campaign materials.
