Counselling Volunteer

Are you a good listener? Do you want to help support young people through difficult times?

If you have, or are you studying for, a Diploma in Counselling, you could be just who we are looking for.

Our volunteer counsellors offer one to one support to young people through the ups and downs of life. Counsellors must be willing to work with 11 to 25 year olds on all issues, and be either qualified to Diploma level, or within the second year of their Counselling Diploma. We offer group counselling supervision to all of our Volunteer Counsellors. You will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and will practise within BACP guidelines.

We recruit volunteer counsellors several times a year, please check this page regularly for information on when to apply and submit a fully completed application form.

We are actively recruiting for student counsellors looking for a placement and qualified counsellors. If you are qualified we would expect you to be working towards your accreditation.
