Our Safe Havens offer support services for young people who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health and who need access to out of hours emotional and practical support.
We offer online, telephone and open-access sessions for you to talk to someone in confidence about anything you may be going through. Our Youth Workers will support you in a safe space, help you to make positive changes with your mental health and well-being, as well as signpost you to other sources of support.
Details of when and where the sessions take place are listed below:
Safe Havens: Southampton and the Isle of Wight
These services are available for children and young people in Southampton (up to 25) and on the Isle of Wight (11-17) who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health and who need access to instant emotional and practical support.
Providing an online and telephone service*, Youth Workers are available:
Monday – 5-8pm
Tuesday – 11am-1pm
Thursday – 5-8pm
Friday – 10am-12pm
Saturday – 10am-1:30pm
*Please be aware these details are soon to change due to moving back to face-to-face service delivery along with continuing with a virtual presence.
Safe Havens: North East Hampshire and Farnham
The young person’s Safe Haven in North East Hampshire and Farnham offers young people (aged 10-17) access to out of hours emotional and practical support with their mental health, providing them with the tools and techniques to enable them to be as safe as possible and make positive changes.
Safe Haven NE Hants and Farnham is currently meeting virtually every Wednesday 5-8pm and Saturday 10am-1:30pm while suitable venues are secured.
