Max (17) came to the Advice Centre for help with his housing situation. He had been in supported housing since 16 after irretrievable family breakdown but had been recently evicted and was at immediate risk of street homelessness.
Our youth workers spent many hours on the phone trying to find accommodation for Max. We succeeded in a further application for supported housing to be submitted and we found a short-term solution, provided him with food bank vouchers and made sure universal credit was maintained.
He moved into new supported housing and continues to work with No Limits, dropping in when he needs emotional support.
