Ex Saints Association support for new City Centre Drop In
With the current No Limits drop-in centre on Bernard Street set to be demolished and redeveloped this year, No Limits has secured a lease on a new drop-in centre in Southampton, 13 The High Street, Southampton, which used to be Oceans. The new drop in centre should be ready for use by the 3rd August.
Michael Thew, Ex Saints Association Chairman said
‘We are delighted to be associated with No Limits, particularly in the role of Patron. We are keen to support such a great charity that provides information, advice and counselling for some of Southampton’s most deprived and vulnerable young people. Our donation of £1000 will be put towards the refurbishment of their new drop-in centre, 13 High Street Southampton. We are looking forward to being there when it officially opens in early August.’
Children and young people under the age of 26 across Southampton and Hampshire will be able to come to the new drop-in for free information, advice, counselling and support for any vulnerability they may be facing. We expect to see over 1,000 young people at the drop-in centre in the first year who may come to see No Limits for issues around: alcohol and drug misuse, homelessness, abuse, sexual exploitation, mental health issues, sexual identity, employment, housing, sexual health, anger management, parenting, finances, benefits or if they are young offenders and young parents.
