Esther’s Wing Walk

17 August 2017

Well-wishers have up until August 25th to donate to Esther’s wing walk challenge which is aimed at raising money for No Limits and Breakout Youth.

Sixty nine-year-old Esther will take to the skies at 130mph on the wings of a Boeing Stearman this Saturday (19th Aug) in yet another one of her inspiring efforts to support the two Hampshire-based charities.

As an avid supporter of No Limits and Breakout Youth, Esther has previously performed a tandem parachute jump to raise money for both charities. A recent surgery, however, left her too vulnerable to perform the risky manoeuvre ever again.

The daredevil however says she could not resist the rush and has had to settle for the equally thrilling wing walk.

“I am really excited to be doing the wing walk as I am a bit of an adrenaline junkie and wanted to do something out of the ordinary. No Limits and Breakout Youth are such worthwhile charities to support because of all the great work they do for the young people in our community,” said Esther.

She will perform the manoeuvre at the Compton Abbas Aerodrome in Wiltshire at 1:30pm this Saturday 19th August. Spectators are welcome to watch.

Esther’s campaign seeks to raise at least £1,000 to be split evenly between the two charities. Visit here to donate to Esther’s fundraising challenge.
