Chilworth Manor hosts Tillison Consulting’s Curry Business April 2018 event, in aid of No Limits

On April 24th, 2018, Chilworth Manor in Southampton hosted the latest Curry Business networking event, raising more than £100 for local young people’s charity No Limits.
The event, which was organised by Waterlooville-based digital marketing agency Tillison Consulting, was held in the idyllic surroundings of the Best Western hotel in Chilworth. A delicious Indian buffet was prepared for the 20 diners in attendance, priced at £20 per head with an additional £5 donation to No Limits.
The team at Chilworth Manor also helped raise money for the charity through sales of raffle tickets, with prizes including bottles of wine and bubbly, gift vouchers and an afternoon tea for two at the hotel.
Rachel Denham, Director of Sales at Chilworth Manor, said: ‘It was a great opportunity to raise funds for our charity No Limits and enjoy a social networking over great food.’
Founded in 1993, No Limits offers free and confidential advice, counselling, support and advocacy for children and young people aged 26 and below. Working across the Hampshire area, as well as from its advice centre in Southampton, the charity provides caring environments where young people can explore issues which are affecting their lives and receive accurate information which is relevant to their needs.
Catherine Garton, Sexual Health and Wellbeing Worker for No Limits, said: ‘To be a member of staff that works on the ground with young people and to be invited to network with a great amount of professional people who are able to support us and raise that amount of money in a short space of time is amazing.
‘It costs at least £250,000 per year just to keep the centre running, so any amount of money we raise goes towards keeping that centre open six days a week for those young people to come in and get the support that they need.
Hosted in locations across Hampshire, West Sussex and Surrey, Curry Business is a monthly event for businesses in the area to meet and enjoy a curry and a chat while supporting local charities and foundations. So far, Tillison Consulting has raised in excess of £5,500 for charities including Breast Cancer Haven, Cafe iMBiZO and Smile Support & Care.
